The Lafayette Band is a community concert band offering an opportunity for any musician to continue using and building musical skills or to return to playing. The band members include adults of all ages and represent a wide variety of professions. The musicians' common bond is their love of music. Free concerts are presented throughout the year and include an outdoor summer series at the North Kingstown Town Beach.
Our programs include something for everyone -- marches, themes from the big screen and television, Broadway medleys, light classical pieces, novelty or feature numbers, patriotic tunes, and world music.
